Top Sites for Pharma and Biotech News

The pharmaceutical and biotech industries are so vast and change so quickly that no one source can keep you up to date on every piece of news. From the latest company mergers to the newest drug approvals, the business is constantly evolving. Check out these sources for free breaking news, agency announcements, trends, and analysis.

A caveat: be a critical thinker, as with any source of online information. Articles and blog posts should provide sources with links; pay particular attention to whether a site has advertisers. If you notice advertisers' information being promoted more frequently than other news, it may be a sign that the site is not all that reputable.

Any "about" section on a good pharmaceutical or biotech site should clearly list any contributors, their qualifications to write on a given topic, and any ties they have to the industry they're writing about, past or present.
