Tim Parker

Tim Parker has spent the last 13 years writing about investing and personal finance for everybody from major media companies to personal bloggers. He started his career as a public school teacher and now spends most of his time as the founder and "Head Web Guy" at ECS--a digital content and development agency based in Bradenton, Florida.

Tim started in the digital space as a financial blogger when blogging was in its infancy. Over time, he began focusing on providing content for others and later started ECS to meet the growing need for financial content. Today, the company, and its team of writers, provides content for websites and financial publications large and small.

Prior to entering the digital space, Tim spent 13 years as a public school teacher and when time permits, still maintains his personal finance site, buildmykingdom.com--a website dedicated to no-nonsense advice for people who don't know as much as they would like about money management.

Tim holds a Bachelor's degree in education from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and Master's degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio.
