Tara Seboldt is a personal finance writer with extensive experience in insurance topics. After graduating from William Woods University with a bachelor's in English, she joined the team at a small web design firm as the primary copywriter. There she found a love for digital marketing and content writing.
Tara moved on to a role at a financial planning firm where she focused on compliance, life insurance, and retirement accounts. As part of her work, she completed exams to become a licensed producer in life, health, and accident insurance lines. Outside of the office, Tara continued writing part-time with a focus on financial topics.
She made the switch to full-time writer and opened a boutique contenting marketing firm in 2018. Since then, Tara has enjoyed sharing her expertise on insurance and personal finance through personal finance outlets. She has also worked to create content for leaders in industries including banking, business lending, debt management, insurance, and real estate.
Born and raised on a farm in southern Illinois, Tara now resides in Idaho with her husband, two cats, a dog, and a horse.
