Rosemary Carlson has written about personal finance for The Balance since early 2019. She wrote about general finance for About.com from 2008-2013.

She taught all areas of finance, including personal finance, for 27 years at Morehead State University, the University of Kentucky, and the University of Maryland University College. She has also written instructor’s manuals and study guides for these and other companies. Rosemary has served as a consultant in finance for a number of companies, including Accenture, LLC. She has developed online course materials in personal finance for universities and corporations.
