As the former managing editor of DailyWorth.com, a finance publication for women, she has written on everything from how to save money as a new parent to retirement saving catch-up strategies to fintech's best spending trackers. Rachel has more than a decade in the journalism industry and has been published in various finance-based publications, from DailyWorth to LearnVest to Forbes.

Rachel has served as managing editor and social media manager for several publications, most recently at DailyWorth, where she guided the editorial strategy, managed a team of freelance writers, served as the site's social media manager, and published high-quality finance and career content daily. Prior to that, she was the news and content editor at FlockU, a media startup geared toward a college readership. She's also worked in the newspaper and magazine industries, writing on everything from nuclear energy to lifestyle topics.

Along with her financial writing for The Balance, she is a regular finance contributor to LearnVest and Northwestern Mutual's Life & Money.
