Summer Olympic Games are held every four years during leap years, for example in 2016, 2020, etc. The Winter Olympics take place during the even-numbered non-leap years in, for instance, 2018 and 2022. Countries that want to host the games submit bids to the International Olympics Committee, headquartered in Switzerland.  IOC members choose winners seven years in advance, giving the host cities time to prepare for the events.

With each Olympic Games comes a slew of job opportunities, as well as chances to volunteer. The upcoming summer games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, still has both employment and volunteer opportunities available. Job listings are not yet available for the Tokyo, Japan 2020 Summer Games and the Beijing, China 2022 Winter Games. Bookmark this page and check back here as the games get closer.
