Food and Wine are looking for delicious cocktails that use Prosecco. If you have one, submit it into the Mionetto Cocktail Challenge for your chance to win a trip to Italy (if you're an amateur) or a feature about you in a popular magazine (if you're a professional bartender).

Plus, six finalists will also receive a trip to NYC to compete live for the grand prizes. This sweepstakes has expired.

Sweepstakes Prizes:

Consumer Grand Prize: A three-night trip for two to Italy including airfare, hotel, a tour of the Mionetto winery, and ground transportation. (ARV: $3,600)

Bartender Grand Prize: A feature in "Food & Wine" Magazine.

Finalist Prizes (6 - 3 per category): A trip for two to New York City to attend the finalist competition.

The prize includes airfare, a one-night hotel stay, ground transportation, and all ingredients to make the cocktail.

Additional Comments:

To enter, first pick whether you are entering as a consumer or as a professional bartender. Note that to enter the bartender category, you must be professionally employed as a bartender at a bar or restaurant at the time of submission.

Then submit your recipe for a delicious cocktail that uses at least an ounce of Prosecco and no more than five additional ingredients. Optionally, you may submit a photo of your finished cocktail, but the photo will not be judged. See the rules for additional details and restrictions.

Three finalists per category (consumer and bartender) will be chosen on the basis of taste (30%), balance (20%), aroma (10%), appearance (15%), and originality (25%).

The finalists will attend a live competition in New York City in November. The finalists will make their cocktails, and judges will rate them again on the same basis as above to determine the winners.
