Mark began his career in financial services starting with MassMutual where he gained broad retail financial services and wealth management experience. He focused on business development and relationship management at a detached office to build the firm’s clientele to 1,200 and $250M assets under management over the course of five years. He also achieved his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and managed the firm’s Operations Team to help drive scale of the practice.
Next, Mark joined Wealthsimple in the robo-advisor space as their second US hire to help launch the Canadian platform stateside in early 2017. As a Senior Portfolio Manager, Mark’s mandate was creating and implementing innovative, turnkey portfolio solutions to make investing simple, smart, and accessible to everyone. He also played a large role in driving product strategy, creating trading systems infrastructure, and innovating how financial advice is delivered. He’s also been a featured robo-advisor panelist in the NYC area to discuss the rapidly evolving fintech space.

Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Business from Liberty University. He also achieved his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in addition to holding numerous (inactive) FINRA licenses, including Series 6, 7, 63, and 24.
