It's very easy to make your own lip gloss. The base of most lip gloss is simply petroleum jelly. You can use it or vegetable shortening as your base. To it you can add flavorings such as vanilla, or essential oils such as citrus or mint. To add color, simply mix in that little bit of lipstick left in the tube, or a bit of blush. You can even add shimmer powder for some sparkle.
