Logan Allec is a personal finance expert who began writing for The Balance in July 2021. A practicing CPA for over a decade, Logan has consulted for both small businesses as well as billion-dollar, publicly-traded corporations.
Passionate about financial literacy at both the personal and business levels, Logan splits his time between client service and content creation. In addition to writing for The Balance and practicing as a CPA, Logan publishes multiple times a week about personal finance topics ranging from credit cards to investment platforms to cash-back apps on his blog Money Done Right as well as his personal finance YouTube channel.
In addition to his CPA license, Logan has a master's in taxation from the University of Southern California (USC) and a bachelor's in linguistics and anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He also has a minor in accounting.
