Lee McGowan is a former writer for The Balance, covering investing and mutual funds for more than a year. He currently serves as a vice president and fee-only financial planner/managing director/partner at Monument Group Wealth Advisors, a registered investment advisor in Boston. Monument Group manages over $500 million in assets.
McGowan served as Vice President of TFC Financial Management from 2004 through 2010, as well as financial advisor for Wachovia Securities from 2000 through 2004 and PaineWebber from 1998 until 2000.
McGowan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hanover College where he majored in Business Administration. He also attended the College for Financial Planning and passed the CFA Level 2 examination.
