Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) is located on the Virginia Peninsula on the southeastern coast of the state near Hampton Roads. Langley AFB is located in Hampton while Ft. Eustis is in Newport News; both are just a few miles off of Interstate 64. Although JBLE is a joint base, it is not connected.

Langley is the oldest continually active Air Force base in the world and has a rich history, cementing its ties with the Air Force.  Langley First Fighter Wing personnel have often led the way in global action and have flown lighter-than-air aircraft, Spads, Jennys, F-86 Sabre Jets, F-4 Phantom IIs, F-15 Eagle, and our newest arrival - the F-22A Raptor. They are also home to the Air Combat Command, the largest major command in the USAF.
