Katharine Beer is a writer, editor, and archivist based in New York. She has over five years of experience researching and writing about everything from the history of NYC's community gardens to Beyonce's 2018 Coachella performance.
Katharine was trained as a historian, with a focus on the histories of cities and social movements. She has taken courses in data journalism and fact-checking at the Google News Initiative and the Poynter Institute.
