Jake Safane is a freelance writer with more than 10 years of experience in the journalism industry. He writes about investing, assets, markets, and more. Jake has been published in a variety of publications that focus on finance and sustainability.
Prior to becoming a freelance writer, Jake worked as a thought leadership editor at The Economist Intelligence Unit. There, he led the creation of sponsored research projects for Fortune 500 companies. Before that, he worked as a financial journalist covering primarily asset management and asset servicing. Prior to discovering finance was the industry that appealed to him most, Jake studied broadcast journalism at Boston University. He now resides in the greater Los Angeles area.
