Are you interested in fashion? Would you like to become involved with one of the top leaders in the industry? If the answer to these questions is yes and if you are thinking of potentially pursuing a future career in fashion, I recommend that you do some research on ways you can enter this exciting and competitive field while still in college.

As in any industry, many of the industry leaders seek out talent through their summer internship programs. Internships in the field provide an opportunity for students to gain exposure and experience while also giving a chance for companies to test out the waters and select those individuals that they feel would be the best fit for the organization.

The PVH Corporate Summer Internship Program:

The PVH Corporate Summer Internship Program is a ten-week intensive experience for college students. A lot of thought goes into creating opportunities for college students to enabled them to get their feet wet in this highly competitive industry. As with most internships, this program was created to give students an opportunity to get hand on experience in the field by participating in daily activities, such as: Lunch and Learn seminars, exposure to individuals pursuing a similar career path, as well as a chance to work alongside top professionals currently working in the apparel industry.  The internship program also challenges each student while giving them the chance to be creative and learn about many aspects of the business through their individual and group internship assignments as well as participating in community service projects.

The summer internship program runs for 10 consecutive weeks from June to August. The application process is very competitive and for students who know that they’d like to pursue an internship in fashion, it’s important to start the process early.
