  • At Dotdash, she applies extensive diversity and inclusion standards to content on and The Balance to ensure that it is inclusive, free from bias, and is both inclusive as well as relevant to people of all races, genders, ages, abilities, and sexual orientations.


Indira Ranganathan J.D. is an attorney and journalist who is committed to ensuring that media portrayal of BIPOC and historically marginalized communities is both accurate and inclusive. She also advocates for transparency and equitable educational resources on behalf of BIPOC students in her community.


Indira received a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Juris Doctorate from Tulane Law School.
