You need to stop sabotaging your finances and really begin to make changes. These challenges vary in length, but can make a big difference in how successful you are in handling your finances over the year.

If you are not already budgeting each month, you need to set up a budget now. If you have a budget, but it is not working, take the time to figure out how to fix your budget so you can start to make your money work for you.

Another challenge that can help you curb your spending is to go on a spending fast. A spending fast is where you stop spending money for a set period of time. Often these are month long fasts with exceptions made for gas and a limited amount of groceries. This can help you change your habits and evaluate what you need as opposed to what you want.
