What You Need To Take With You to Red Lobster

Some restaurants require ID or another type of proof before getting your free Veterans Day meal, to show that you really are a veteran or are actively involved in the military.

Red Lobster, however, doesn’t seem to need this. They’re relying on your honesty as validation that you used to serve or are currently serving in the military.

Some locations may not be aware of this, though, and may ask you for ID. I recommend you do bring some sort of proof just in case you need it. This may include wearing your uniform, showing military ID, or presenting some other easy form of identification that you are who you say you are.

Red Lobster’s Veterans Day Free Food Restrictions

This year’s free Veterans Day appetizer or dessert offered by Red Lobster is valid during specific dates only, which means you must visit the restaurant on certain days to take advantage of the offer.

Remember that although Veterans Day is on Friday, November 11 this year, Red Lobster’s Veterans Day free meal is valid from the day before (November 10) through Veterans Day itself, (November 11). Just visit a Red Lobster either of those days to get the free appetizer or dessert.

Any guest, family member, or other customer who comes along to eat with the veteran, reserve, or active duty military member must pay full price for their appetizer or dessert.
