Erin O’Neil is a freelance writer with a specialty in banking and finance. Erin’s work with clients from banking beginners to high net worth individuals has given her experience in banking and finance from the ground up.
Erin has just under a decade of experience working directly with clients in the finance industry. In her first role at a major brokerage house, Erin worked with beginning investors to establish savings goals and a basic understanding of finance. Her largely middle class client base led to a greater understanding of the frustrations and challenges facing “main street” Americans. Currently, Erin works at a boutique firm whose holistic wealth management services range from portfolio allocation to estate planning. Erin’s work with a broad spectrum of clients has given her insight on the overall market and economic situations facing individuals today. She is an advocate of the arts and helped coordinate a financial literacy program at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta
Working with a wide range of clients has made me realize how important financial literacy is to people’s future and success. It can be intimidating to learn about banking, but education and basic common sense can go a long way in preparing for a secure future. Financial literacy is something that is essential for all Americans, whether you have $50 or $50,000. With all the changes going on in the banking world, it’s sometimes hard to keep up. My goal is to present relevant topics in an easy to understand format that helps people make educated and solid decisions about their money.
