Delaware Division of the Arts Individual Artist Fellowships

The Delaware Division of the Arts offers a variety of grant programs for individual artists; nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations chartered and based in Delaware; and schools and government entities that support arts activities. Established Professional Fellowships of $6,000 each and Emerging Artist Fellowships of $3,000 each are given annually to Delaware poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers. Writers who have lived in Delaware for at least one year prior to application and who are not enrolled in a degree-granting program are eligible.

Applications from organizations and schools are reviewed annually by grant review panels, consisting of individuals who live and/or work in Delaware, selected because of their knowledge and experience in the arts, business and nonprofit management, and involvement in their community. Panelist nominations are accepted year-round.
