As a professional trader, Cory Mitchell has been studying how markets operate and finding profitable strategies since 2005. He has also written hundreds of articles on day trading for The Balance, Investopedia, Forbes, and many others. And he has authored a number of books and trading courses including The Complete Method Stock Swing Trading Course and The EURUSD Day Trading Course.
Cory began his career as a proprietary trader, trading firm capital with the sole purpose of generating profits for the company. The job had no salary. Pay, and keeping the job, was based entirely on consistent profitability. Mitchell stayed at the firm for five years before moving on to trade independently.
Cory been a radio guest on multiple programs throughout the U.S. and Canada. He remains an active day trader and swing trader in stocks and currencies.
Education
Mitchell received his bachelor's degree from the University of Lethbridge, majoring in finance.
He received the CMT designation—a three-level program focused on statistics and technical analysis—in 2009.
