Cary Krosinsky is a former writer on sustainable investing for The Balance. He teaches, writes and leads seminars on the topic through various means, including a lecturer position at Yale University's School of Management.
He recently collaborated with Brown University to co-teach “The Theory and Practice of Sustainable Investing,” leading to creating the Brown University Sustainable Investment Fund now launched within the Endowment.
Krosinsky also teaches MBA classes at Concordia University in Montreal and at the University of Maryland. He previously designed and helped lead the RFK Sustainable Investing program at Columbia University’s Earth Institute for Kerry Kennedy’s RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights.
He's a co-founder of the Sustainable Finance Institute (SFI), a global education think tank based in New York, and is also Director and Co-Founder of the Carbon Tracker Initiative.
His written books include "Sustainable Investing: The Art of Long-Term Performance" (2008), "Evolutions in Sustainable Investing" (2011), and "Sustainable Investing: Revolutions in Theory and Practice" (2016).
Ongoing engagements include those with the Network for Sustainable Financial Markets, the Journal of Environmental Investing, NPV Associates, BlueSky Investment Management and Wilshire Associates.
Krosinsky holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hofstra University.
