There are two basic types of gas credit cards: Co-branded credit cards affiliated with a gas station and rewards credit cards that pay higher rewards on gas purchases. We’ve included both types of credit cards on our list. Rewards credit cards have versatile rewards that you can use on gas, travel, cash back, and more. Co-branded credit cards on the other hand, only offer discounts on gas purchases at that specific gas station brand. If your car is a gas guzzler and you spend a lot on fuel each month, a deep discount can help you save hundreds of dollars over the year.
