ASAP Credit Repair will customize a credit repair solution precisely to your needs, with a one-time fee of approximately $399 to $699 on average. While this one-time fee is higher than many other credit repair companies we reviewed, the absence of a monthly fee is better than most of the competition. This could end up saving you money in the long-run.

Although ASAP Credit Repair doesn’t have a rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), it also hasn’t had any customer complaints. Plus, ASAP Credit Repair has relatively good customer reviews of almost a full 4-stars with the BBB. We considered all of these items and more in our review.

Company Overview: Relatively Long Time in Business

ASAP Credit Repair is a privately held credit repair company founded in 1998 and headquartered in Houston, Texas. Based on the founding date, ASAP Credit Repair has a good length of time in business compared to the other credit repair companies we reviewed. When choosing a credit repair company, it’s good to select a company with a long history of business operations.

The company may offer you a full money-back guarantee in the event it can’t fix the agreed-upon items.

Available Services: Custom Credit Repair Services

ASAP Credit Repair is different than most of the other credit repair companies we reviewed in that it offers a custom solution for a fixed, one-time upfront fee. For this reason, there isn’t much pricing information available on ASAP’s website. Since this information isn’t readily available, we called the company to learn more. To figure out how much the services from ASAP Credit Repair will cost, you’ll need to enroll for a free credit consultation. Your credit advisor will review your credit reports and put together a custom quote for you. We were told the fixed rate for the company’s credit repair services typically averages about $399 to $699.

The fixed rate for the company’s credit repair services typically averages about $399 to $699.

Once you’ve signed up for services, ASAP Credit Repair will repair the items you’ve agreed upon in your contract. This takes about 60 to 90 days on average, but it will vary depending on the extent of your credit issues. Depending on your situation, the company may offer you a full money-back guarantee in the event it can’t fix the agreed-upon items. You’ll be told upfront in your contract if a guarantee will be provided. This guarantee structure is good because you’ll know upfront if it’s going to be hard to fix your credit issues (in which case you won’t be given a guarantee) or if the odds of your issues being fixed are reasonable (in which case you will be given a guarantee).

Optional Add-Ons: Focused Solely on Credit Repair

While some credit repair companies offer additional services (e.g., budgeting tools or credit monitoring), ASAP Credit Repair only offers credit repair solutions. If you want other solutions, like credit monitoring, you could choose a different credit repair company or purchase a separate credit monitoring service. Buying a standalone credit monitoring service is likely a better option since you should only need to use a credit repair service until your credit issues are fixed.

Customer Service: Responsive Support

Since ASAP Credit Repair’s website didn’t provide detailed information about the cost of its services, we called the company to learn more. We were met with a responsive team member who seemed friendly and succinctly answered all of our questions. The level of professionalism was good, and we left the call with the information we requested in-hand. Although ASAP Credit Repair doesn’t offer 24/7 support, that’s not unusual for credit repair companies. Its hours of operations aren’t published, but you can reach ASAP Credit Repair by phone, text, or email. You can also fill out an online support form, and someone will get in touch with you.

Reputation: No BBB Rating, but No Recent Complaints

Unfortunately, ASAP Credit Repair doesn’t have a rating with the BBB. Although the BBB doesn’t provide specific information regarding why there is no rating, our review suggests this might be because the BBB file was only opened in 2018, and there have been no complaints, the latter of which is a good thing. Even better, a review of the customer complaint database maintained by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) didn’t turn up any complaints during the past three years.

Customer Satisfaction: Mixed Ratings, but Good Overall

Although there aren’t many reviews available for ASAP Credit Repair, the customer reviews that exist are relatively good. The customer reviews from the BBB are great at almost a full 4-stars. Plus, Trustpilot reviews come in at 3.5 stars. Like many other credit reviews, some of the negative complaints seem to be related to the company’s money-back guarantee and items that weren’t repaired. All-in-all, the reviews are relatively good, especially when viewed in context with the other credit repair companies we reviewed.

Cost: Customized Pricing

ASAP Credit Repair’s pricing is different from the other credit repair companies we reviewed. This is because you’ll pay an upfront fee for the company’s credit repair service, and that’s it. You won’t be charged a monthly fee, which is very different from much of the competition. We were told the average pricing for ASAP Credit Repair’s services ranges from about $399 to $699. The amount you pay will depend on the extent of the issues you need to have repaired. Plus, discounts may be available for couples, military members, first responders, and more.

Although the fixed rate may seem high, it’s essential to consider how long it will take to repair your credit issues, factoring in any one-time fees and monthly charges when considering other providers. Given that ASAP Credit Repair is earning a fixed rate, the company should have a good incentive to get your items repaired as quickly as possible. This means it’s likely that you could pay less under this pricing structure than if you chose a credit repair company that charges a monthly fee.

It's always important to shop around when making a financial decision to make sure you're getting the best possible deal.

The Competition: ASAP Credit Repair vs. Lexington Law

Well-known credit repair company Lexington Law is a competitor to ASAP Credit Repair. Although both companies offer credit repair services, the services provided by Lexington Law are determined based on which plan you choose (three plans are available). In contrast, the services you’ll receive from ASAP Credit Repair are customized based on your individual credit repair needs. It’ll be important to carefully consider how much time it’s going to take for your credit items to be repaired. This is because even though the one-time fee charged by ASAP Credit Repair may seem like it’s more than what you’ll pay with Lexington Law, you may pay less over time if you choose to work with ASAP.

Our Expert Megan Says

Although ASAP Credit Repair doesn’t have a rating with the BBB, its customer reviews are almost a full 4-stars.

The most significant deciding factor for us when considering ASAP Credit Repair versus Lexington Law is the companies’ reputation. Although ASAP does not have a BBB rating, its customer reviews of almost four stars are better than Lexington Law’s BBB customer reviews of just better than two stars. Plus, Lexington Law has a pending government action related to alleged consumer protection violations. That said, we believe ASAP Credit Repair provides a better option than Lexington Law.

It's good to take previous customers' experiences into consideration when deciding on a credit repair company.

Final Verdict

Decent Fixed-Rate Credit Repair Option

Although ASAP Credit Repair doesn’t have a rating with the BBB, its customer reviews are almost a full 4 stars, which is good. The biggest differentiator with this credit repair company is its upfront, fixed-fee pricing. Although the hefty upfront fee of about $399 to $699 on average may seem high, it could end up costing less than the competition since ASAP may be incentivized to get your items repaired quicker since you’re not being charged a monthly fee. That said, we think ASAP Credit Repair offers a decent option, especially if you don’t mind waiting to learn how much you’ll pay until after you’ve been given a free credit consultation.
