  • Impact Editor, Coda Media Inc; Managed eight editorial partnerships for the investigative nonprofit news sites averaging 200,000 monthly visitors, measured and tracked the impact of investigations, and produced three 20-page grant reports for U.S. and European funders


Ariam is a published writer and trained reporter with an unconventional journalism background. She is most passionate about serving the needs of communities historically excluded from traditional media. She is a bridge-builder and brings a high level of focus and consciousness to every project. The Bronx—where she grew up is her first home—the second is her family's native of Eritrea.


Ariam received an Master's in Social Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
