Ariam Frezghi is a published writer and trained reporter with an unconventional journalism background. Her experience includes working for the Institute for Nonprofit News, Coda Media, and the Democracy Fund. Ariam is most passionate about serving the needs of communities historically excluded from traditional media. She is a bridge-builder and brings a high level of focus and consciousness to every project.

Ariam received a Master's in Social Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
