Amy Jurries is a freelance writer and social media guru. She's the founder of The GearCaster, an outdoor gear website that tracks the trends in the industry, and her writing has appeared in a variety of publications including Outside, Backpacker, Overland Journal, The Red Bulletin, REI Co-op Journal, TNT magazine, and Pilot Guides. Amy has lived and worked in many countries including Belgium, Canada, France, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, though currently resides in sunny California.
