Amanda Reaume has been writing about personal finance topics such as banking, insurance, and student loans for over seven years. In 2014, she launched the blog Millennial Personal Finance, which taught millennials how to gain control of their finance in order to get on the path to financial freedom. After selling the blog two years later, she continued to provide freelance, personal finance-focused work to a variety of businesses, including U.S. and Canadian banks, start-up companies, and publications. She's covered topics like business planning, taxes, business insurance, fintech, business financing and credit, disability inclusion in the workplace, and more. Her work has been published in Forbes, Business Insider, and Yahoo! Finance. In addition, Amanda wrote and published the book, "Money is Everything: Personal Finance For The Brave New Economy," in 2015.

In addition to her writing and marketing work, Amanda serves as the associate director of the the University of British Columbia's Farm Centre. There, her goal is to raise funds from donors to help propel the Farm Centre forward.

Amanda graduated from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor's in English, as well as a master’s in English literature.
